Famosas Finder LLC was looking to create an Event Calendar for the Entertainment Business, a specialized spot where professionals of Advertising, Music, Movies and General Entrainment for the Hispanic Market can find information about new events and artist happening in the most important cities in the country.
Cultura Interactiva Web Design & Development, was in charge to analyze, plan, design and develop this amazing web tool. The web design process started with a set of wire frames to be able to find the correct elements necessary in all web pages. Due the natural concept of the project (an event calendar) the next step was to create a clean and simple design for the Calendar interface where celebrities, events, and details about participants will fit perfectly containing all important information, but without looking too busy or crowded.
The “Event Calendar” is actually six calendars. There are event calendars dedicated to the Miami, New York and Los Angeles markets. A fourth calendar spotlights events in cities outside of these regions. The fifth calendar is for television broadcasts and national (e.g. film or music) releases. The final calendar is a production development calendar. It can be used to cast Latin celebrities, present brand integration opportunities to advertisers, etc.
A custom web programming was developed to match all project features about how users will interact with the system, how they will publish new events, create new alerts, and add new celebrities, all these when keeping a perfect security policy regarding celebrity’s management rights, and easily updates to Celebrity’s Profiles and Galleries.
The system also counts with a strong Master Administration environment from where all features, users, events and celebrities can be easily managed making this the central place to keep on eye in every part of the system.
Statistics is a great tool for measure success and a must to have for any business, and one of the best for web development is Google Analytics. Cultura Interactiva integrated a custom Analytics report inside the Master Administration to be informed about main website data regarding: daily visitors, monthly visitors, per period visitors, most event viewed, visitors sources (direct, search engines, others), main landing pages, etc.
